The September school holidays have arrived! We know how hard it can be to keep the kids entertained so we have our top five picks for school holiday activities in Surfers Paradise.
If you want to tire the kids out, take them to the biggest Timezone you can find. The Timezone in Surfers Paradise has all the games, rides and activities you could ever want and need. Grab the kids a timed package and let the run wild.
Departing from the heart of Surfers Paradise, cruise the glorious Gold Coast waterways on board Surfers Paradise River Cruises. You’ll experience stunning views of the Surfers Paradise skyline, million dollar homes and maybe even some of our resident dolphins. With morning, lunch, afternoon and sunset cruise options available, there’s a cruise to suit any family. Kids under three are free, and family packages are available. Each cruise offers complementary snacks with the lunch cruise offering a buffet. Kids often love to get behind the wheel and drive the boat!
This infamous amphibious bus cruises around the Gold Coast streets for 30 minutes before taking a dive into the water for another 30 minutes of quacking fun. The Aquaduck is always a huge hit for kids, it’s not often you climb aboard a giant duck!
Adrenaline junkies, this one’s for you. The Jetboat Extreme will spin you 360 degrees during a 55-minute thrill ride. Departing from Surfers Paradise, kids with an eye for adventure will love this one.
As you may have read in our last blog post, you’ll find heaps of fun things to do at Surfers Paradise Kids Week! You’ll find live shows, character meet and greets, virtual reality experiences, arts and crafts, sporting activities, mascot dance parties, cooking classes and much more. Highlights include the ‘Jurassic Creatures in Paradise!’ show which will teach kids about dinosaurs from the Jurassic Period. In an Australian first, the show will be completely live. Sea World’s ‘Seal Guardians to the Rescue’ will hit the stage to educate and entertain. Last but not least, Drax 4 Kids will get the whole family up and grooving with new live music and a disco party.
